Evaluation and Treatment

Shulman and Associates conducts a thorough initial evaluation that includes critical analysis of the patient’s needs and exploration of creative treatment options. Treatment begins immediately, during the patient’s first visit.

Subsequent treatments always involve a review of the current symptoms from the patient’s point of view, as well as an objective evaluation by the therapist. These visits are followed up with timely reports to the referring medical caregiver.

Symptoms

Speak with your care provider about the benefits of physical therapy if you or someone you care about is experiencing any of the following symptoms:

• Headaches
• Head and neck cancer
• TMJ
• Facial muscle pain/spasm
• Bruxing or clenching
• Limited ability to open jaw (trismus)
